Builders Warranty Inspections-New Construction Inspections

These inspections are performed on new construction homes. Many buyers are opting to have a their new construction home inspected. Additionally many home owners choose to have the home inspected prior to the end of the builders one year  warranty. I have heard many people question whether this is really necessary.  I emphatically reply Yes!

Review the following information from Consumer Reports and you will understand why.

I can not remember how many times I have inspected a home for prospective buyers to find defects that should have been corrected by the builder years before. Many owners purchased the home new and waived the inspection, making the assumption that nothing could possibly be wrong with a new home. This is often far from the truth. There are very few new construction homes that I find absolutely no defects. There is always something.
